This class meets on Friday evenings at the Roots Collaborative Care clinic: 300 Frances St. Goodlettsville, TN
Instructor: Elizabeth Broadaway, MCD
I have always believed that pregnancy and birth are two of God’s greatest miracles. I also believe having a baby is God’s greatest blessing to you. As a couple, it is one of the most amazing things you will journey through together. Families come in many different forms and we create them in many different ways. I am so excited to be teaching an evidence-based curriculum that will help you and your partner through this process of becoming your own little family!
I graduated college with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Ministry with an emphasis in children from Moody Bible Institute. I have worked in churches, but never felt truly called to work there. I became a Roots Certified Instructor and a McDoula Certified Doula so that I could support, educate and encourage women and new families in advocating for themselves and striving for the safest and healthiest births they could possibly have. I am also a licensed cosmetologist allowing me to encourage and inspire women in that facet as well.
I am a 32 year old married lady who has a passion for teaching and encouraging women. I have been blessed to be married to my best friend since March 2015 and live in Gallatin. I look forward to being a part of your journey.
